7 Steps To A Better And More Successful You

As we are nearly at the end of spring, we are also about to enter the second half of the year! So you may ask yourself, where did January through May go?

Well, if you are serious about your InterNetwork Marketing business, now is a good time to take another serious look in the mirror and ask yourself, “How am I doing in my business?”.

Now I know, you could almost lose your sense of self-esteem while trying to achieve success in internet network marketing. But whatever your results and situation, you should always keep your own sense of self. Some of us may just be tempted to bury our heads in the sand rather than face the harsh reality. But remember, the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

So what should you start doing today to make 2006 your best year ever? Well, what about starting with yourself and make the first steps towards becoming the leader you always aspired to be? Here’s a 7 step program to self-development that is guaranteed to take you to the top of your game and make you achieve things you never dreamed were possible.

Know your purpose.

Are you living your life with no goal – simply hoping that you’ll find health, wealth and happiness? Looking at your life patterns, define your pre-eminent purpose in life or vision statement and you will have your own unique map that will lead you to your desired destination each and every time.Difficult as this may seem for those who imagine they are in a dead end, the truth is that there’s always going to be an opportunity to turn things around and change your life for the better. Make sure you seize that moment of opportunity.

Know your values.

What do you value most? Make a list of your top 5 values. Mine are freedom, love, integrity, self growth and excellence. As you revisit your own goals for the rest of 2006 – check your goals against your values. If the goal doesn’t fit with any of your top five values – you may want to rethink it or even drop it.

Know your passions.

You know who you are and what gives you true joy in life. Life is just too short to allow fears, doubts or lack of enthusiasm frustrate you and keep you from becoming the success you deserve to be. Always be true to yourself and respect those people, friends and mentors who have inspired you to become who you wanted to be.

Know your needs.

You have only one shot at this life. Always take care of yourself. If you have a need to be loved, a need to be in control, or simply to be acknowledged, make sure your identify those needs and get them met as soon as possible Unfulfilled needs and desires very often become a source of frustration, stress and even depression. So write down your top 5 needs and just get out and start working towards fulfilling them before your life is over!

Live from the inside out.

Increase your awareness of your inner wisdom by regularly reflecting in silence. Breathe deeply to rest your mind. Slow your pace. If you live in a city like we do, it’s seems almost impossible to find the peace and quiet we want even in our own home. That’s why I love going out for a quick swim or a walk in the park, but you may prefer to simply listen to Mozart or Beethoven to relax and recharge your batteries.

Build your strengths.

What are your strong points, special skills and virtues? List your top three or four strengths – if you find this self-assessment a bit too difficult, you can always ask your family or friends for help. I am sure they will come with a fairly long list of good things to say about you. Then try to imagine ways to express your authentic self through your strengths. There is no better way to develop your self-confidence than through helping others with what you know and what you do best.

Serve others.

When you are true to yourself, you may find that you develop an interconnected sense of being. When you live your real purpose, being congruent with your needs, values, aspirations and you share your strengths with others around you, what you are essentially doing is giving back to the world your very spirit – your essence. The rewards for living in such a way and sharing your special talents with your friends and family, even strangers, is deeply rewarding and fulfilling.

Embarking on this 7 step program can mean a lot of work; however self-improvement also holds its own rewards. If you really want to change your life for the better, you may discover that the real prize is not so much in what you strive to achieve as in the person you become during that transformative journey.
