Proven Ways To Keep Your Downline Motivated for MLM Success




When people join a multi-level marketing program, they are looking for leadership that will lead them to success. Your downline members look at you as the leader who is going to show them the MLM success formula and keep them highly motivated.

There are several ways that you can do this:


Newsletters:

First, you have to stay in constant contact with all of your downline members. It’s best to keep a database with their names, email addresses, home mailing addresses, and phone numbers. You could also use an autoresponder to send out a newsletter to your downline via email.

Your newsletter could highlight company news that your downline members may not be aware of, tips and techniques for their MLM success, and mention high performing downline members by name. You could also announce birthdays, the birth of children, and anniversaries as well. Make your newsletters informative, with a personal touch, and you will be turning your downline into one big family!

Personal Communication:

Make it a point to touch base with your productive downline members at least once a month. Then choose a few of the non-productive downline members – or as many as you feel you have the time to work with each month – and start figuring out why they are not producing and what you can do to change the situation. Sometimes, all it takes is a little personal attention from someone that has already achieved success.

Meetings & Conference Calls:

Hold meetings for your downline members at least every few months. These meetings can be in person, or over the Internet in the form of a conference call. In fact, conference calls are a great idea for monthly contact as well. If your downline members are located around the world, an online meeting may be easier – but try to hold a seminar or conference at least once per year for your downline members.

Prizes & Recognition:

Offer monthly prizes to the three top performers each month. The prizes can be as simple as a gift certificate or as elaborate as a Plasma Television depending on what your own commissions will be. You may even offer a really big prize, like a cruise for the best performer of the year. Nothing gets the promotional juices flowing like some healthy competition!

Training Materials:

Provide your downline members with adequate training materials – even if you have to produce those materials yourself. In fact, give them new training material monthly if possible. The more they know, the better they will do.

Product Experience:

Have your downline members try the products, if they haven’t already done so. You believe in the product. That is why you are successful. When they see how good the products are, they will also believe in the product, and they will have the ability to promote the product and the program more effectively for their own MLM success.

It is important to remember that your MLM success depends on the success of your downline members. The more you do to keep them motivated, the more they will do for their own success, and ultimately your success.
